New West
I have a strong love for Nieuw West. It's where I live, where I walk, where I keep coming back with a camera.
It's a place of contradictions. Both beautiful and brutal. New and neglected. Unfinished and unpolished. Familiar and surprising. Everything I love about Amsterdam, I find here. Not everyone feels the same about this part of town, and I get that. Maybe it takes a bit of practice.
